Shiny Buttons

Creator:
Oliver

I'm going to show you how to make something like this: Preview

1. Make a new image, around 60x25

2. Fill it with a dark grey to white gradient

3. Right click that layer and go to blending options: Use these settings: Inner Shadow Stroke Gradient Overlay When you use stroke, you need to make the colour close to the background of your buttons.

4. Make a new layer

5. Select the single column marquee tool and then place the selection to the left or right. Go to Select>>Modify>>Expand

6. Fill the marquee with a colour that will stand out, I'm gonna use orange because it looks cool.

7. Right click that layer and go to blending options. Use these settings: Preview

8. Then add some text in a pixel font. I used 04b_8 which can be downloaded from www.04.jp.org

9. Use these blending options Preview Simply go to Image>>Duplicate if you need more than one button.
